LOCAL MARKET

Tenant improvement electrical across the Las Vegas Valley

Hospitality defines much of the Las Vegas market. Casino, restaurant and meeting-space renovations happen in buildings that never close, so work is phased around guests and coordinated closely with property operations.

Beyond the Strip, the Valley has grown quickly in medical, retail and office space, and industrial and distribution space has expanded strongly in the southwest and north. Each brings its own electrical demands.

Desert heat drives large cooling loads that must be carefully sized. The Valley is also divided between several jurisdictions, and much of the Strip sits in unincorporated Clark County rather than the City of Las Vegas.

WHAT WE BUILD OUT

Build-out work we take on in Las Vegas

The tenant improvement work we most often carry across the Las Vegas Valley.

Hotel and hospitality

Guest-room and corridor lighting, back-of-house kitchen and laundry power, lighting control scenes for public spaces, and work phased around rooms that stay occupied.

Restaurants and food service

Dedicated circuits for every piece of cooking and refrigeration equipment, hood and fire-suppression interlocks, walk-in power, and a service sized for the full cook line.

Retail and in-line space

A new suite panel off the house meter bank, storefront and display lighting, signage circuits on time clocks, and point-of-sale power laid out to the fixture plan.

Medical and dental clinics

Exam and operatory power, imaging equipment feeds coordinated with the vendor, patient-care grounding, and emergency or life-safety circuits where the occupancy calls for them.

Office and corporate suites

Receptacle and workstation power, lighting and occupancy controls, AV and conference-room circuits, and the IT closet power and grounding a new floor plan needs.

Industrial, flex and warehouse office

High-bay lighting, 480V equipment feeds and disconnects, dock and charging-station power, and the office core built out inside the warehouse shell.

LOCAL PLANNING

What we plan around in Las Vegas

The local factors that decide whether a build-out here opens on the date it was promised.
01

Confirm the jurisdiction

A Las Vegas address may be in the county or one of several cities. We confirm before filing.
02

Size for the desert

Cooling equipment runs hard for much of the year. Feeds and disconnects are sized for that duty.
03

Phase hospitality work

Casino and hotel renovations are phased around guests and coordinated with property operations.
04

Plan industrial power early

Warehouse and distribution tenants often need 480V feeds and dock power. We confirm the building’s distribution first.
PERMITS AND CODE

Permits, code and utilities in Las Vegas

Electrical permits in the Valley are issued by the jurisdiction the address sits in — Clark County, the City of Las Vegas, Henderson or North Las Vegas. Much of the Strip is in unincorporated Clark County. Each adopts the National Electrical Code with local amendments.

NV Energy serves the Las Vegas Valley. Service changes and new meters go through the utility, and we begin that process as soon as the load is known.

Lighting alterations are subject to the jurisdiction’s adopted energy code. We confirm the control requirements before pricing.
